Open-Loop Evaporative
Cooling Tower Systems |
Cooling tower systems provide economical
process water cooling by evaporating a
small amount of recirculated water using
the latent heat of evaporation to cool
the remaining water.These systems
provide recirculated water for process
cooling of injection and blow molding
machine hydraulic systems, feed throats
and molds and for extruder barrel, feed
throat, gear box, screw and material
cooling where fluid temperatures at or
above 85° F can be used.
In some climates economical "free
cooling" systems can be used to save
energy. |

Closed-Loop Evaporative
Cooling Tower Systems |
A system that uses the same principles
as an open-loop cooling tower system
except a heat exchanger isolates the
process cooling water that contacts the
process equipment from the water
recirculated through the cooling tower.
This system provides clean water for the
process equipment minimizing system
maintenance. |

Central Chilled Water
Systems - Modules & Pump Tanks |
Chilling modules are available in many
configurations: water-cooled, air-cooled
with remote condensers and air-cooled
located totally outside. System
capacities range from 5 to more than
1,000 tons. Modules can be used
with separate ADVANTAGE pump tank
stations or to expand TITAN central
chillers.
Systems are available to provide
closed loop cooling for all areas of
plastics process cooling. Central
chillers provide recirculated cooling
fluid from 20° F to 65° F using
mechanical refrigeration with the most
efficient and reliable components
available. |

Central Chilled Water
Systems - TITAN |
The ADVANTAGE TITAN central chiller is
the industry's most complete and
versatile system. It is available
in air and water-cooled configurations
with capacities from 10 tons to over 300
tons. When combined wtih
additional chilling modules, system
capacities can reach upwards of 1,000
tons. The TITAN chiller includes
and integral water reservoir and pumping
system along with a single or multiple
circuit refrigeration system. The
reservoir is sized to be expanded to two
times the initial system capacity.
Installation costs for the TITAN
chiller system are lower than most
systems because only a single power drop
is required and the interconnecting
piping between the tank and chiller is
included. |

System - OACS |
OACS chiller systems provide closed-loop
cooling for all areas of plastics
process cooling. 20 F to 65 F
recirculated cooling fluid is provided
using mechanical refrigeration with the
most efficient and reliable components
available.
ADVANTAGE OACS chilling systems
include refrigeration and integral
pumping systems...and it is designed to
be installed completely outside...in any
climate. Save valuable floor space
while holding installation costs to a
minimum with an OACS central chiller.
Capacities range from 3 to 100 tons.
Combine units for even greater system
capacity. |
